Ormond’s competitive package
We recognise that delivering a transformative student experience starts with investing in our people. Our Total Reward Strategy (TRS) is designed to reward, develop, and support our team members, ensuring they feel valued and empowered to contribute to our vibrant community.
It goes beyond compensation to foster a sense of belonging and shared purpose, ensuring that every team member has the opportunity to thrive. The TRS comprises five key components, including:
Compensation
We’re committed to fair, transparent, and competitive pay that reflects the unique contribution of each role. Salaries are guided by a clear position assessment process to ensure consistency and equity across the board. While we operate within a not-for-profit budget, compensation is regularly benchmarked to remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
Benefits
Our benefits are designed to be flexible and inclusive, recognising that different people value different things. From parking to generous leave options and workplace flexibility, the package is built to support life inside and outside of work.
Wellbeing
Supporting a healthy, balanced lifestyle is a priority. Initiatives like our Employee Assistance Program, mental health training, and access to quiet green spaces help create an environment where people feel safe, supported, and able to thrive – both professionally and personally.
Recognition
Good work deserves to be acknowledged. Whether it’s informal thanks, milestone celebrations, or peer shout-outs, recognition is woven into the culture. Contributions are seen and valued, no matter the size or scope.
Development
Learning and growth are encouraged at every stage. One-on-one conversations, coaching, and a clear performance development framework support team members to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and take the next step – whatever that may look like.
