Ever since Scottish reformer Francis Ormond founded our College, we’ve embraced a global outlook. Inspired in the early days by the Oxbridge collegiate model, our community’s ties now extend across the region and across the world.

Today, Ormond College is a vibrant, diverse and globally connected community. One that spans borders, disciplines and generations. With over 10,000 alumni around the world, Ormondians are shaping a better future: advising governments, launching purpose-driven ventures, advancing research, and building bridges across cultures and nations.
As Australia’s largest residential college, Ormond plays a unique role in the region. We are expanding our impact through a renewed focus on the Asia-Pacific and globally important locations including the UK and US. Our Asia Pacific & Global Engagement Strategy deepens this commitment through strategic partnerships, cultural exchange, global fellowships and a growing network of changemakers.
